BRAZILIAN CARNIVAL SHOW

Who among us has not wanted to participate in a glorious and fiery Brazilian carnival in the middle of winter - on February 7, 2023, VEF will give us all such an opportunity!

The Brazilian Carnival concert performance is a mixture of cultures, sounds, colors and rhythms. Mega hit of all Latin American parties "Kaoma" performed by "Lambada", "Mas que nada" by the pop group "Black Eyed Peas", "Mamãe eu" performed by Carmen Miranda in 1940 and becoming an all-time hit quero'', as well as music from the theme of the popular Disney cartoon "Real in Rio" are just some of the pieces that will make the visitors' senses ignite. By opening the boundaries of rhythms, the musicians go outside the usual frames, creating a mixed sound. In the sounds and lyrics created by the ensemble, you can feel the power and joy from a distance, trying to transmit the energy of renewal and freedom.

Band leader and vocalist Rodrigo Manfrinati was born in Campinas, Brazil into a musical family and has been influenced by several samba and R&B bands he has been a part of and tries to focus on creating music that appeals to everyone.

Miguel Kuyyoi comes from Santiago, Chile and in the course of his musical growth, he has participated in several world musical projects, "absorbing" various musical instruments, playing styles and manners of forms, as well as constantly developing his skills.

Another musician of Brazilian origin, Rafael Dasilvo, has performed with musicians famous in Brazil and around the world, such as Alexsandre Carlo (Natiruts) Ellen Oleria, Gog and Marceleza (Moscow).

Other participants of this Brazilian carnival are the amazing percussion group "Samba de Riga" from Latvia, who play Afro-Brazilian rhythms on authentic Brazilian drums, such as samba, samba-reggae, maracatu, samba-funk, candomble and others. Samba de Riga brings the atmosphere and joy of the Brazilian favelas with the help of its loud, voluminous sound and synchronized movements right here in Latvia, recharging the audience's emotional "batteries"

And of course, what is a Brazilian carnival without the gorgeously dressed and fiery Brazilian dancers led by the stunning Vasessa Rufino. The powerful choreography combined with the majestic costumes lends grace and authenticity to the entire performance.

The team of the international concert show promises to conjure up a real celebration in the spirit of the famous Rio de Janeiro carnival. Seeing them perform is like taking a trip to a Brazilian carnival.
