LIEPĀJA’S SUMMER AT RUNDĀLE PALACE. MUSICAL TALES in the Green Theatre

Attention: The festival is organised in strict conformity with safety measures under which only visitors with a valid Covid-19 certificate (vaccinated against Covid-19, tested for the virus and received negative test result, or recovered from Covid-19) and children until 12 years of age without a certificate may attend. More information is available on the website of the Ministry of Culture: https://www.km.gov.lv/lv/jaunumi un www.covid19sertifikats.lv.

Liepāja Theatre actress Karīna Tatarinova and musicians of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra—hornist Ings Novicāns and percussionist Marta Kauliņa—invite the little listeners of preschool and elementary school age to participate in telling and singing fairy-tales. Accompanied by the music of Georgs Pelēcis, Oleksiy Demchenko, Raimonds Petrauskis and Oskars Petrauskis, children will listen to stories about a circus lion Boniface who travelled across the ocean to meet his grandmother, about a little racoon who is learning to be brave, and about the beautiful beanstalk that grows into the sky. All who come will hear the varied sounds of a French horn, marimba, vibraphone, and percussions. And all these instruments will be there, really, really close to you!

The concert staging includes performances that were part of the CD “Little Music Tales” produced by the actress Karīna Tatarinova and published by “Upe tt”. The CD was awarded the Golden Microphone “Best Children’s Music Album of the Year”.
