Astor PIAZZOLLA Accordion Concerto

World-famous accordionist Ksenija Sidorova performs in her homeland once again, and her agile fingertips will conjure unforgettable little flames in the bittersweet Accordion Concerto by master of Argentinian tango Astor Piazzolla. Young violinist Daniil Bulayev will display his extraordinary talent, painting a sonic portrait of the capricious, radiant Tzigane by Basque genius Maurice Ravel. Spanish dances and carnival costumes will dazzle in brilliant colours in Ravel's Spanish Rhapsody; Piazzolla's The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires will sparkle like magnificent crimson flowers, but the concert will open with Alborada del gracioso so that we can enjoy a lively night of high spirits on the brink of a new year.
