AIJA VĪTOLIŅA & TANGO SIN QUINTO

The concert will feature new programme with the group's favourite compositions that have become close to them over the years, as they have rejoiced and grieved together, and lived it all out in music - from popular tango pieces to completely unfamiliar yet touching compositions from the latino music movement. 

Everyone will enjoy songs from Astor Piazzolla's tango opera Maria de Buenos Aires, the ladino songstress Yasmine Levy and, of course, the beautiful French melodies of Edith Piaf, the "little sparrow". 

There will also be pieces by Maurice Ravel, Richard Galliano, traditional tango tunes and original compositions written especially for Tango Sin Quinto.
