Closing Concert and awarding ceremony of "II International Solo and Duet Singing Festival - Contest RIGAS DOMS 2020"

The Contest for singers will take place in the Column Hall of the Museum of the History of Riga and Navigation on the 23th and 24h of October, and it will conclude with highlight of festival RIGAS DOMS 2020 - a Closing concert and awarding ceremony in the Riga Cathedral on the 25th of October, 2020.

Janis Erenstreits, the father of the Contest stresses that “since the times of J. S. Bach, boys’ voices have been described with such vivid epithets as the voices of angels or nightingales. The mission of the Festival RIGAS DOMS 2020 is to achieve that singing of boys is inspirational to every child, at the same time promoting exchange of creative experience between conductors and vocal teachers”.

The II International Solo and Duet Singing Festival–Contest for boys “Rīgas Doms” is organised by Vocational Education Competence Centre National School of Arts “Riga Cathedral Choir School” in cooperation with Riga Cathedral Choir School Support Association.
