Klausies. Slusai. Listen.

The project Klausies.Слушай.Listen. is poetry on top of improvised jazz, composed and performed by jazz musicians with rich international experience. The name of the project is a simple invitation to listen — to poetry, music, stories, originally written in three languages.

On May 1st the band has released a debut album called “17”. That’s at the same time the name of the first recorded composition: the first text starts with the words “17 seconds to May” (in Latvian), telling the listener about longing for spring, light, love, beginning of a journey and life. On a beautiful summer concert in Ungurmuiža manor the band will perform some of the album’s compositions, as well as many other new stories.
