LIEPAJA ART FORUM
18 - 30 SEPTEMBER
From 28 to 30 September at Liepāja Concert Hall “Great Amber” the annual modern art festival “Liepāja Art Forum” will take place. By marking Liepāja as a modern and topical art thinker, the festival has announced itself brightly as a modern art platform with various intriguing and interdisciplinary art projects.
“The fourth “Liepāja Art Forum” has nearly arrived, and this year it also promises to be exciting and full of discoveries. Modern art genres go hand in hand and create new forms and contents – music, dance, cinema, visual art, meetings, experiences, parties and emotions. Bright artists from Latvia, leaders of their genres from abroad and mutual collaborations will create the festival programme this year,” says the artistic director of the Forum Baiba Bartkeviča.
This year the art forum will offer events of 10 various genres, which with the participation of artists from Latvia, Sweden, Belgium, Australia, Iceland and Austria will reflect modern art topicalities in Europe and worldwide.
