JOHN MALKOVICH ar programmu REPORT ON THE BLIND

The opening concert of the second Baltic Musical Seasons concert cycle promises lots of surprises. The main highlight of the event will be the performance of the cult actor, director and producer John Malkovich. Two-time Oscar Award nominee and winner of more than 20 movie awards, Malkovich will present a chapter Report on the Blind from the famous Argentine writer's Ernesto Sabato novel On Heroes and Tombs to the music of Alfred Schnittke's concert for piano and orchestra. The actor's performance will be accompanied with one of Hungary's best orchestras, the Danubia Orchestra Obuda. The outstanding pianist Anastasia Terenkova (winner of the Cincinnati International World Piano Competition, Gawon International Music Award and Dorothy MacKenzie Artist Recognition Competition award winner) will perform as a soloist.

The performance of John Malkovich is scheduled for the second part of the opening concert.
