CELEBRATING LATVIA’S CENTENARY – A CONCERT OF LATVIAN MUSIC CLASSICS AND MODERN COMPOSERS “LATVIA SOUNDS IN LILACS”
In concert’s program:
Emīls Dārziņš, Jāzeps Mediņš, Jāzeps Vītols, Jānis Ķepītis, as well as modern composers – Raimonds Pauls, Imants Kalniņš, Zigismunds Lorencs, Uldis Stabulnieks, Mārtiņš Brauns, Zigmārs Liepiņš and others.
Concert participants:
National Opera soloists Laura Teivāne and Rudīte Ruško, actor Gints Andžāns, musicians of Latvian National Symphony orchestra led by Raimonds Ozols and the accompanying music band led by Raimonds Macats.
Special guests: singer Viktors Lapčenoks and composer Mārtiņš Brauns.
