Karpov not Kasparov

The last silent film ever produced by the Soviet avant-garde lives its glory once again these days, thanks to a new original and very energetic soundtrack. There are danceable moments, there's experimental electronica but also some folklore and jazzy flavours.

You are invited to the projection of the silent film "Happiness" ('Schastye" -1934 directed by A. Medvedkin) whose soundtrack will be performed live by the Romanian duo Karpov not Kasparov.

The cine-concert was presented during the last four years on cultural stages, cinemas and theatres from Berlin, Vienna, Lyon, Prague, Oslo and Bucharest. In autumn 2018 the band will start a new cine-concert cycle for the "Holy Mountain" (1973) A. Jodorowsky.
