The musicians explain that the programme is dedicated to Latvia’s
anniversary, which is why, in contrast to previous seasons, the main focus
is on works by Latvian composers. Ķeniņš’s work is intricately professional,
Pelēcis attracts with his buoyancy, Fridrihsons enchants with a musical
painting, whereas Gribinčika offers a new work. The quartet, as usual, has
created an excellent team – let’s see how the strings resonate with Dita’s
flute, Mārtiņš’s clarinet, and Agnese’s piano performance.
