Jānis Lūsēns koncerts AIZ... Mūzika vēlā vakarā

The new concert programme of instrumental music “BEYOND…Music Late in Night” by Jānis Lūsēns is the talented composer’s home-felt journey in the wide world of sounds to which the listeners are invited in the nicest churches of Latvia this summer. Meditative compositions are created by allowing the relaxed touches of fingers to play over the piano keys and the serene thoughts to roam freely. Do not think, do not try consciously to control, let it happen – that was the aim of the composer Jānis Lūsēns when he started the process of composition. The result is very personal story of music.

 The wonderful acoustics and atmosphere of the nicest churches of Latvia are created so that the listeners attending the concerts “BEYOND…Music Late in Night” could enjoy the music and inner peace. Each concert is going to be unique because the instruments will sound in intimate atmosphere under the vast domes of churches, namely, without any additional sounding. The composer Jānis Lūsēns has admitted that this concert programme is very special way of self-relaxation, which allows obtaining harmony and being the producer and the listener at the same time.

The main instrument of the concerts is very special “Una Corda” piano that were made by internationally recognized piano builder Dāvids Kļaviņš and available in ten samples in the whole world. Its sound palette among the musicians is compared with delicate whisper. Piano solo during the concert programme “BEYOND…Music Late in Night” will be enriched by the sounds of percussion, flute, cello, bass and other guitars.
