2024 FIM Speedway GP of Latvia – Riga

Speedway competition – FIM SPEEDWAY GRAND PRIX OF LATVIA – September 6-7 in Riga, CSDD Biķernieki track

After the successful international speedway competition in August 2023, the grand speedway is set to make a return to Latvia in 2024 to host the fastest and best athletes in the speedway world in Riga, in the Biķernieki track!

• On September 6, 2024, the second round of the U-21 Youth World Championship (SGP2) 2024 DeWALT FIM Speedway GP2 of Latvia–Riga will take place, but
• On September 7, 2024, the ninth round of the World Speedway Championship (SGP) season FIM SPEEDWAY GRAND PRIX OF LATVIA will take place.

The 2024 event introduces several news for spectators to enjoy:

DeWALT grandstand – grandstand will be located right next to the participants' area (pit zone), giving the opportunity to feel the dynamics and adventurous spirit of the speedway, being right in the epicenter of the competition! Only those spectators who bought tickets for the DeWALT grandstand will have the opportunity to observe the participants' preparation for the competition and the active work of the teams in the pits from the area next to the grandstand.

VIP tickets – spectators have the option to purchase VIP tickets for Saturday's SGP round, which will include a seat in the C sector grandstand with a view of the start/finish area. VIP spectators will be provided with a well-equipped dining area, a rest area, separate facilities, a printed program of the competition, a parking lot and a separate entrance to the competition, as well as Guest access to the competition participants' area (pits) during a certain period of time on the day of the competition.

It is possible to buy event tickets for one day of the competition (Friday or Saturday) or, if bought at a more profitable price, for both days of the competition. The VIP program is only available for Saturday's SGP round.

In the initial period of ticket sales - the period until January 31 - it is possible to buy the entrance tickets at a pre-sale / reduced price. Spectators have the opportunity to buy tickets of three different price categories in each of the ticket sales periods. The amount of entrance tickets to all sectors are limited. The seats in the sectors are numbered, it will not be possible to change the selected seat to another later. In sectors C and D, the start and finish of the competition are best visible to the spectators, while in the other sectors, the spectators have the opportunity to closely observe the skills of the competitors in the bends of the track. The DeWALT tribune allows spectators to see the arrival of the participants on the track very close, as well as the team pits in the area near the grandstand.

For youths up to 17 years of age (included) and seniors - tickets are offered at a reduced price in all price categories and periods. Entry to the event is free for people with disabilities in wheelchairs, but their assistant must purchase an entry ticket (this ticket has a reduced fee). The number of tickets is limited.
