Sense experience for two

According to the findings of the American psychologist Abraham Maslow (1908–1970) human life is based on fulfilment of five needs (physical, security, love, self-esteem, and self-realization), and his conclusion was that a human is driven by an inner necessity to fulfil these needs, which can be done only through interaction with the physical and social surroundings.

The Play “Pyramid” is experimentally therapeutic journey into emotional experiences, where every participant of the play, through limitation of the canonical human basic needs, has possibility to discover his/her own “level of happiness”. This will be intimate theatre experience, which allows just like during psychotherapy session to discover ones hidden and socially suppressed needs. The play is made in the aesthetics of sense experience, which has not been explored in Latvia before, and fully excludes sense of vision offering the participants of the Play to take an imaginary journey using hearing, touch, smell and taste.
