Opening the 28th Liepāja International Stars Festival traditionally held in March, an exclusive concert will be performed by one of the leading violinists of the world — Gidon Kremer — together with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gintaras Rinkevičius. He will also share the stage with the cellist Giedrė Dirvanauskaitė and pianist Georgijs Osokins. The program will include Ludwig van Beethoven's Triple Concerto or Concert for Violin, Cello, and Piano, and Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 4.
