Smilšu skulptūru festivāls 2019

13th International Sand Sculpture Festival

8–9 June, Pasta sala (Post Island), Jelgava city

The theme of 2019: “The Antique World”.

The sand sculpture festival will feature works by sculptors from 8 countries: Latvia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Finland, the USA, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Russia.

12:00 and 14:00 Ā. Alunāns Jelgava Theatre performance and games for children

13:00 and 15:00 Jelgava New Theatre performance with games for children

16.30 ATOM/Songs charged with cries of freedom and soulful love ballads performed by Charlie Vasquez, Ainārs Majors, Toms Kagainis and Miķelis Dzenuška – the only xylosynth virtuoso in Latvia.

18.30 Colours of Bubbles/One of the best Lithuanian pop-rock bands.

20.00 Credo/The legendary pop-rock band celebrates its 45th anniversary this year.

22.00 Mākoņstūmēji/Dances with a humour-pop band.
