Concert "Nirvana, Queen, Led Zeppelin in jazz!"

Daniil Kramer and jazz quartet of Anton Rumyantsev performing world`s legendary rock hits.

Jazz, as a music style, is very versatile and easy falls into any other music genre – from folklore music to rock music melodies. Examples of such experiments are concert programmes of Russian leading saxophonist and jazz music virtuoso Anton Rumyantsev – “Nirvana in Jazz”, “Queen in Jazz”, “Led Zeppelin in Jazz” and others. Compositions by those excellent collectives were played and continue to sound in the concert halls, festivals and radio stations all over the world. Most of the jazz musicians simply interpret world’s famous song melodies, but A. Rumyantsev has particularly created specific programmes dedicated to each band separately. A presence of vivid emotionality and temperament is felt in his interpretations at the same time maintaining a respect for legendary songs and their performers. Anton Rumyantsev and his jazz quartet presents a lot of those concert programmes in different European cities, where crowded halls of every concert are filled with unrelenting ovations.

Festival’s "Summertime – Inese Galante & Friends" second day’s guests will have a unique opportunity to enjoy above mentioned programmes’ compositions in all their glory. In Jurmala, the band of Anton Rumyantsev, will perform together with the legendary Russian pianist – virtuoso Daniel Kramer, who on multiple requests of listeners will perform again in the festival "Summertime – Inese Galante & Friends". Already for five consecutive years Daniel Kramer has regaled festival’s "Summertime – Inese Galante & Friends" guests with his presence, each time performing with different musicians – always masterful and bright stage colleagues. From the first minute of performance Daniel Kramer is attracting the audience not only with his filigree playing technique and emotional style of performance but also – unbelievable charisma, charm and seemingly impossible speed of playing together with brilliantly developed piano play manner.
