Father, professor Sergejs Osokins, and sons, winners of many international competitions and bright music interpreters, Andrejs and Georgijs Osokins entered the world music arena with their unique piano play. The Three Osokins are a revelation of deep, creative and virtuoso musical compositions. Each touch of the piano keys is thought through, felt and transformed into subtle sound vibrations that touch the audience and discover the nuanced sound of music. The Three Osokins have already performed concerts at the Latvian National Opera, the Great Amber Concert Hall in Liepaja, the Dzintari Concert Hall in Jurmala and the theatre house Jūras vārti in Ventspils. Each concert is a special event, because it is formed very carefully, creating concert dramaturgy, choosing compositions, creating special versions and transcriptions of them for three pianos. The programme consists of various soundpaintings from different ages, which are enhanced with a special sound by the Yamaha grand pianos, very popular among the pianists. The beginning of 2018 was special for these pianists, due to the launch of the first studio album by The Three Osokins - “The Three Osokins in Latvian Piano Music”, dedicated to the centenary of Latvia, already known and yet to be known masterpieces of Latvian piano music. In February, the outstanding musicians performed concerts in Poland.
