Tango, the bohemian-flavoured fruit of city nights... Sleepless wandering through narrow streets, in and out of cafés and bars is just as fitting to the image of Buenos Aires as that of Paris. Maybe that is why the paths of so many Argentinians connect these two metropolises. One of them is Marcelo Nisinman, student and close family friend of the tango king Astor Piazzolla. In his own creative career Nisinman follows the path laid down by his grand master friend and teacher. A transformative experience which gave power to Piazzolla's reformative ideas was the time spent in Paris, studying under the legendary Nadia Boulanger, who had a great role also in the life of Igor Stravinsky. The latter – and jazz! – was, in turn, admired by Piazzolla and Les Six, including, of course, Darius Milhaud.
