CANTAMUS PACEM

FESTIVAL OF THREE is a dynamic performance tour experience designed by musicians to provide the very highest artistic experiences for conductors, performers and local friendship ensembles.  At the core of the program are three gala concerts with three of the very best ensembles in their genre. Performances take place in three of the finest concert venues available.  Beyond these gala concerts, each ensemble performs joint concerts and solo concerts as part of their unique itinerary.

Outstanding local ensembles are invited to share both the musical experience of these concerts as well as the cultural exchange opportunities they bring.  Each FESTIVAL OF THREE has an well-known artistic director who in responsible for inviting the participating ensembles and selecting a commissioned composer to write a new work to be premiered on the gala festival programs. Commissioned composers to date include Pärt Uusberg, Michael McGlynn, and Ēriks Ešenvalds.

FESTIVAL OF THREE is sponsored by ARTS ENGAGE INTERNATIONAL which is dedicated to fostering international understanding and friendship through artistic exchange and cultural enrichment.  All ensembles participating in this festival share wide-ranging cultural activities and guided tours that round out their experience.

Although FESTIVAL OF THREE enjoys strong ties to Estonia and the Baltic, festivals are being created throughout Europe and beyond.  Building bridges of friendship through the performing arts transcends languages and borders.  It is our belief that the world needs this sort of artistic leadership more now than ever!
