LAF. MOveMENT. Movement class with Kristīne Brīniņa

MOveMENT is a masterclass led by choreographer Kristīne Brīniņa, where children aged 6–9 participate with a parent or guardian.  The movement class is based on documentary dance method principles, which the participants will learn and try out, also learning about the creation of the documentary dance performance Trajectories of Childhood, performed earlier during the Liepāja Art Forum.

In the movement class, children and parents will learn various dance creation games, which will encourage a sense of inner freedom and create a moment for both generations to meet and get to know each other through a shared dance experience.

Please attend the class in comfortable clothes and even more comfortable shoes and bring drinking water.

Masterclass led by: Choreographer Kristīne Brīniņa

Kristīne Brīniņa is an independent choreographer, dancer and performer. Her works are based on everyday situations, which are carefully and delicately transformed into art forms through seemingly simple movements and actions. By applying the documentary dance method, movement becomes the main medium to document our own lives in the most human way possible.
