Līva Tomiņa / violin
Katrīna Anna Pelnēna / viola
Dina Puķīte / cello
Guntis Kolerts / contra bass

Program:
Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART, Franz SCHUBERT, Edvard  GRIEG,  Luigi Boccherini and others

Musicians of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra have formed a string quintet to put their youthful energy into a breezy, bright and colourful programme. In this concert, the lucid Melancholy Waltz by Emīls Dārziņš and the passionate fandango by Luigi Boccherini are mixed with lyric and buoyancy compositions, like Edward Elgar’s “Love’s Greeting”, Edvard Grieg’s “From Holberg’s Time”, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s divertimento or music for good mood.
