The 20-year anniversary concert of the Latvian Blues Band will make a dazzling opening of the summer season at the Great Amber!

The Latvian Blues Band put themselves on the map with a powerful tour in Canada in 2000. This band, which is already legendary, is valued as one of the best blues ensembles in Europe. Six music albums have been released during these years. The band has performed in Latvia, gone on successful tours abroad and done collaboration projects with global stars – John Primer, Carlos Johnson, Bryan Lee, and many more. Numerous shows have been performed in the USA, Canada, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Greece, Denmark, Norway, etc. The band has participated in the largest European blues festivals – Euro Jazz in Athens, Sierre Blues in Switzerland, Narcao Blues in Sardinia, and others. The 20-year anniversary concert can be enjoyed by audiences not only in Latvia but in other places in Europe as well.

The Latvian Blues Band are currently actively working on their new studio album, therefore the concert in Liepāja will feature both known and beloved songs and completely new tracks from the upcoming album. The anniversary concert will also be special because the band will be joined by the saxophone player Kristaps Lubovs and trombonist Laura Rozenberga.
