August traditionally is a time when Orchestra “Riga” invites classical music lovers to enjoy summer concerts at Riga Cathedral. Concertprogramme “Bach, Bruckner, Britten” is going to be rehearsed and performed in long-awaited collaboration with Janis Liepins, the first kappelmeister at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, Germany.

Due to the current safety regulations during the Covid-19, concerts by Orchestra “Riga” are organized for mixed type audiences – vaccinated persons, persons recovered from Covid-19 and visitors who had a Covid-19 test before the event.

  • All attendees over the age of 12 will be asked to present a valid digital COVID-19 certificate as well as ID (passport or ID card) at the entrance.
  • Please, make sure that your Covid-19 certificate is valid, otherwise you will not be able to enter the event, and no money will be returned.
  • At the venue a mouth and nose covering is required.
