Cēsis Concert Hall is known to forge a close collaboration with a musician or ensemble of musicians, culminating in a string of concert programmes, which, tailor-made for the concert hall, are presented over the course of a year. In 2020, the resident artist of the concert hall was the pianist Andrejs Osokins, while 2018 belonged to Trio Palladio, the joint project of three brilliant solo musicians ‒ violinist Eva Bindere, cello player Kristīne Blaumane and pianist Reinis Zariņš.
2021 will see us get to know a talented youngest generation family of musicians, the three Balanas siblings ‒ the violin players Kristīne and Roberts and cellist Margarita. Young yet already taking some of the world’s major concert stages by storm, the three musicians are opening their Cēsis residency starring in a concert with Sinfonietta Rīga Orchestra and the British conductor Ben Palmer. The programme is showcasing the talent of the Balanas siblings both individually and as an ensemble.
The online concert will be available for live streaming on Cēsis Concert Hall website at www.cesukoncertzale.lv and Biļešu Paradīze website after purchasing the access code for EUR 8 in advance.
