Vivaldi Four Seasons in Liepaja

Without interrupting the tradition of the festival SUMMER OF LIEPĀJA, Liepāja Symphony Orchestra invites you to a long-awaited musical gathering, which will only happen as a part of this festival.

Under the guidance of the conductor Gintaras Rinkevicius, the orchestra will play one of the most popular masterpieces of academic music – Vivaldi concert cycle Seasons, as well as Tchaikovsky’s 4^th symphony, in which tragedy and melancholy turn into a life-affirming victory.

 

In the roles of the soloist will be the concertmaster of the first violin group of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, the outstanding violinist Līga Baltābola.
