My friend - not a serious person (1975)

Arvīds Lasmanis does not stay in any workplace for a long time, because he cannot accept a sloppy and unfair attitude towards work. However, his wife and two boys demand to eat, and Arvīds finds a lucrative haltura - a capricious job. The mother's fiancé Ciekurs settles Arvīds in the heating network repair team he manages, but some of the new colleagues do not like Arvīds' honesty and principledness. The wife also criticizes that he does not know how to live and the family has to cram into the room of the communal apartment, but there is a conflict at work, because Arvīds announces that he will not put rusty pipes on the heating main.
