In conclusion of the summer streaming season of the concert series Personally, we invite you to the romantic opera music concert Promenade of the Southern Sun. With the expressive pianist Agnese Egliņa behind the piano, soloists of the Latvian National Opera and Ballet – crystal soprano Marlēna Keine and artistic tenor Mihails Čuļpajevs – will duet the most beautiful love songs, arias and duets of Mediterranean composers.

“The hour is beautiful for dancing, Anyone in love will not miss it,” say the lyrics in Gioacchino Rossini’s Tarantella Napoletana. The concert program Promenade of the Southern Sun will be filled with suggestion of a thrilling dance, a sun-sizzled passion, and a boundless lust for life. Through the canzones, lyrical songs and love duets, the audience will have the opportunity to get to know and love the music of Camille Saint-Saëns, Franado Obradors, Astor Piazzolla, Ruperto Chapí, and other French, Spanish and Italian composers, as well as the tradition of the Spanish musical theater, zarzuela.

As with all concerts of the series Personally, the concert audience will be able to find out more about the musicians, the pieces and the composers. 

The concert will be filmed in the Great Hall in compliance with all safety measures. The concert ticket price is set at 7 euros per one streaming connection or a so-called home ticket which allows all members of a household to enjoy the concert, to support the artists and the concert hall. 

In compliance with all safety measures, only 20 attendees are invited to enjoy the concert in the Great Hall (the number of audience at the venue may change over time in line with state-mandated safety measures during the pandemic). The exclusive opportunity to experience the concert at the venue will cost 30 EUR per person.

Regarding streaming ticket purchases:

When you purchase a ticket for 7 euros, you will receive a streaming code that you will be able to use to watch the concert. The live stream can be accessed via the website of "Biļešu Paradīze" or Great Amber by clicking on the concert: “Opera music concert streaming. Promenade of the Southern Sun”. To access the concert, you will have to enter the streaming code under "insert password". 

The code can be used for one device only.

 

We ask attendees of concerts to assess their health and not to attend events if they are showing symptoms of respiratory infection (fever, cough, shortness of breath), or if they are under self-isolation, home quarantine or strict isolation. The Great Hall will be opened for the audience 15 minutes before the concert.

- you will leave your outerwear individually at the cloakroom;
