MAHLER NO.2. SEASON OPENING CONCERT

The Liepāja Symphony Orchestra under the baton of its chief conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius will commence its 139th concert season in a grand manner – with a performance of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No.2 for a large orchestra (130 musicians on and behind the stage, for spatial effects). The concert will feature the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Kaunas State Choir, and soloists – soprano Maija Kovaļevska and alto Claudia Huckle.
