Eiropas Ziemassvētki. Sinfonietta Rīga un Inga Kalna. Mūžīgais Mocarts

Inga Kalna, soprano
Sinfonietta Rīga
Conductor Normunds Šnē

Programme:
Arias from the Operas of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Symphony No. 17 in G major, K. 129, Symphony No. 32 in G major K. 318

Sinfonietta Rīga and the magnificent Mozart-performer Inga Kalna meet again. Along with the clever opera characters the programme includes two symphonies by the Austrian genius. Symphony No. 17 is dressed in manly tricorne hats and flirtatious flowing dresses; and Symphony No. 32 is modelled as a short three-part overture at the start of an opera, allowing the audience to peek behind the curtain and see the characters warming up on the stage – a couple of curtsies before the drama begins, full of adventures and intrigues. On this winding path we will meet hopeful Lucio Silla, love-confused Sifare, jealous Electra, the disguised Countess, grieving Donna Anna and bewildered Fiordiligi.
