In their new work Latvian artist duo Krista and Reinis Dzudzilo explore language and sound as a visual category. The audience listens to the last symphony No 6 by Russian composer Piotr Tchaikovsky and experiences its interpretation in sign language. The conductor lifts his hands to create sound, the deaf person lifts his hands to create language. The standard communication and perception patterns are challenged as the deaf guides the hearing one through the Tchaikovsky’s score.
