Thirty professional sculptors from seven countries have been selected for the 22nd International Ice Sculpture Festival. The dream of super abilities, the emergence of new heroes, the Superheroes among us in our daily lives and in the books of history. In less than a week, creating forty-five contest sculptures will bring to life Superheroes as the theme of the 2020 Festival.
Large-scale ice objects and demonstration shows will traditionally complement the contest sculptures. All three days of the festival will be accompanied by an extensive cultural program for the whole family. The first half of the day will be devoted for performances and games for kids while the night program will be filled up with shows by beloved Latvian musicians such as Astro'n'out, Ralfs Eilands, Singapūras Satīns and many more will be on stage. Surprises will follow!
