Rīgas Operas festivāls 2020

Riga Opera festival 2020 will take place from 5 to 14 June by presenting this season’s new productions, a Gala concert and one of the most beautiful works in the history of music – Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi. During the festival, the audience will enjoy the performances of brilliant artists.

 

In the twenty years since its founding, the Riga Opera Festival has become a valuable tradition. The festival is highly anticipated by both Latvian audiences and opera-lovers from abroad. Every summer, the festival marks the end of the Latvian National Opera’s performance season with an overview of the best moments of the previous year, offering fans a chance to relive their favourite scenes or see what they have missed. The Festival includes remarkable productions from the season and a gala concert with internationally renowned guest artists and the Latvian National Opera’s soloists.
