On 10th November 2014 at 19:00 Inessa Galante Foundation is inviting music lovers to the Great Guild Hall to enjoy an unforgettable and emotional meeting with bright Latvian performers. This musical event is continuing the best traditions of the foundation: brilliant opera singer Inessa Galante invites to the stage her friends – different style music performers, as well as young talents in whose hands is the cultural future of our country.
One of the Inessa Galante Foundation specialties is a synthesis of various music styles and genres: here academic and world music form an organic union – the chronological frames of the foundation’s events spread from baroque to nowadays.
Also in the colorful 10th November concert together with Inessa Galante famous and beloved Latvian musicians, whose oeuvre and performing styles are extremely multifaceted, will take part. You will hear extraordinary countertenor Sergejs Jegers, one of the leading mezzo-sopranos from Latvian National Opera Ilona Bagele, the owner of a silky timbre Ingus Petersons, celebrated pianist Vestard Shimkus, Latvian National Symphony orchestra first violin and honored soloist Raimonds Ozols, two popular music stars – Intars Busulis and Linda Leen, as well as singer and TV presenter Ralfs Eilands who always surprises with variety of his repertoire. Young Latvian talents who have already won important prizes in different competitions will also get a possibility to show themselves on public. This time listeners will enjoy the performance of a young rising star, violinist Daniils Bulayev, and the winner of the first prize in Inessa Galante talent’s competition, singer Eduards Grundmanis. The boys’ choir of Jazeps Medins 1st Music School of Riga will also take part in the concert.
Together with Inessa Galante both celebrated and rising stars have prepared for the audience lots of surprises and musical revelations to touch every listener’s soul strings.
