INFORMATION ABOUT CANCELED AND POSTPONED EVENTS

The gathering rules set to limit the spread of Covid-19 infection have affected many events, but a happy retreat in the life of the culture is greatly missed not only by the spectators but also by the artists.

Every effort is currently being made to announce the new event dates and other related information as soon as possible! Once the information is known and available, it can be found in the table below.

Given the current situation, we especially appreciate your understanding and patience during this time - thank you!

IF THE EVENT IS CANCELED

If the event is canceled, the purchased ticket value is returned to the buyer. Refunds are being processed as follows:
  • if the tickets have been purchased in the online store bilesuparadize.lv, the money is returned to the ticket buyer's bank account, without customer's request, within the time limits specified by law after receiving the order of ticket returns from the event organizer.
  • if the tickets have been purchased at the “Biļešu Paradīze” box office, the money for the purchased tickets can be received at any “Biļešu Paradīze” box office within the ticket return deadlines specified by law.

We draw your attention to the fact that the organizer of the event must ensure the possibility to return the event ticket value as soon as possible, but no longer than six months after the abolition of the restrictions on gatherings set by the state.

IF THE EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED

If the time of the event has changed or the event has been or will be postponed, we kindly ask you to attend the cultural event of your choice on the newly announced date, because the tickets to the postponed events are valid. Artists highly value this choice, as not giving up attending the planned event is the best solution for the industry in this situation.

However, if you know that you cannot attend the postponed event on the new date due to legal reasons (for example, you cannot be in the country where the event takes place or the event is prevented by significant health restrictions), the refund will be as follows:
  • if the tickets have been purchased in the online store bilesuparadize.lv, the money is returned to the buyer's bank account within the time limits specified by law after receiving the customer's request to the e-mail [email protected]. The request e-mail must contain the purchase invoice number found on the e-ticket.
  • if the tickets have been purchased at the “Biļešu Paradīze” box office, the money for the purchased tickets can be received at the “Biļešu Paradīze” box office within the ticket return deadlines specified by law.

We remind you that the organizers of the event must announce the new dates of the postponed event within six months after the abolition of the restrictions made by the state. The postponed event must take place in one year after the lifting of the restrictions.

For more information on the restrictions imposed by Covid-19, see the Covid-19 Infection Control Act and the Consumer Protection Center's statement.
