The Rīga Festival invites you to take a trip of taste and music to Moldova.  Good music and fine wine – audiences have traditionally experienced this combination of enjoyment and the stories which professionals tell about these two passions at the Spīķeri Concert Hall.  Full of enthusiasm and temperament, the musicians of the Vali Boghean Band are prepared to create a spark of passion for the summer season in Rīga.  The band features natural musicality and the spirit of improvisation, with the ability to conjure up an atmosphere in which one wants to linger.  The Vali Boghean Band plays music that is influenced by Balkan jazz, classical music and Eastern European folk music.
