In the second concert of the festival three bright personalities will meet – legendary jazz pianist Daniel Kramer (Russia) and famous saxophonists Bril Brothers (Russia). Musicians will perform together with a jazz ensemble, which includes a contrabass and percussions.
By popular demand of the audience, again, Inessa Galante has invited Daniel Kramer to the festival, for which he even had to reschedule his festival Ural Terra Jazz. Latvian listeners are impatiently waiting for his performances, which can be heard only during the festival Summertime – Inessa Galante invites. Virtuoso pianist, teacher, composer, producer, welcomed guest of radio and TV shows Daniel Kramer captivates not only with refined technique and emotional performing, but also with stunning personal charisma – everyone, who has heard him playing at least once in a lifetime, became totally addicted.
Now, twin brothers Alexander and Dmitry Bril are welcomed guests at the world’s best jazz events. They have released four albums, appreciated by listeners and professionals. They are the sons of a legendary jazz pianist Igor Bril, so, the music is in their veins since early childhood. Brothers have conquered world recognition also because of their collaboration with various jazz masters: bassists Nat Reeves and Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, saxophonists Kenny Garrett, Dave Liebman and Bill Evans, as well as pianist and composer Dave Brubeck. Brothers regularly have collaboration with the members of Russian jazz elite. Their performances are not only interpretations of jazz standards – it is a bright, unrepeatable and temperamental manner of playing, which settles in the memory for a long time.
