Joshua Bell with Symphony Orchestra

Joshua Bell was a student of Josef Gingold, a renowned American violin master and music teacher. He is a brilliant academic musician and one of the most famous violinists of our time.  When he was only 14 years of age, he made an appearance with the Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Riccardo Muti. In 2007, the outstanding musical achievements of Joshua Bell were rewarded with the Avery Fisher Prize, which is regarded as one of the most significant awards for American instrumentalists. In a remarkable manner, the musician can balance his academic performance on a relic Gibson ex-Huberman violin crafted by Antonio Stradivari (1713) with recording soundtracks for popular motion pictures. In particular, Bell recorded the soundtrack by John Corigliano for The Red Violin drama film. The musician holds Grammy, Mercury and Gramophone awards.
