Denis Matsuev - Jazz with Friends

The legendary pianist Denis Matsuev will perform in an unusual role on the 2st of July in the Dzintari concert hall. He will play jazz!

Denis Matsuev's name is inextricably linked with the traditions of the Russian pianoforte school, changeless exceptional quality of concert programs and the depth of interpretations of the classics. However, while still a student of conservatory, Denis Matsuev said: "For me, classical music is on the first place, and jazz is on the second." Rest assured, the pianist performs the "second" no less brilliantly than the "first"!

Famous jazz musicians will appear on the stage of Dzintari together with Denis Matsuev – Andrey Ivanov (double bass) and Alexander Zinger (percussion).

Breath-taking jazz improvisations, unique combinations of rhythms and harmonies and unexpected surprises await the audience.
