SAXOPHONIA. Spīķeri ETNO. Rolf-Erik Nystrom un Kouame Sereba (Norvēģija)

Mūziķi:
Rolfs Ēriks Nīstrems, saksofons (Norvēģija)
Kouame Sereba, afrikāņu tradicionālie instrumenti, balss (Norvēģija)

The passionate rhythms of Africa and the thoughtfulness, uncontrolled temperament and fragile beauty of the Nordic lands -- these bring together echoes of music from various nations, with references to jazz and classical music alike.  The song of the saxophone is merged with the voices of musicians and the enchantingly colourful timbres of traditional African instruments.  Rolf-Erik Nystrøm is unquestionably one of Norway's most brilliant and titled musicians, and equally impressive achievements have been won by Kouame Sereba from Cote d'Ivoire, who is currently living and working in Norway.  The musicians have performed together since 1995 and know each other very well.  Each concert allows them to enjoy new musical adventures and discoveries.
